ST Sled Tune Bench
Offline ski preparation diary

Ski notes that remember the snow.

Sled Tune Bench helps recreational skiers log ride conditions, preparation choices, glide scores and personal notes after every session. It is built as a private workbench: no accounts, no cloud sync, no automatic weather lookup — just your own local history of what worked, where, and why it may be worth repeating.

A workbench, not a generic journal.

The app is organized around practical ski tasks: create a new ride card, review past sessions, save preparation presets, compare conditions and manage skis or gear.

Preparation presets

A successful setup can become a reusable preset, so the skier can return to a wax, brush and base-prep combination instead of trying to remember it from scratch.

Similar day

The app can find older ride cards with the same snow type, nearby temperature bucket and close track state. It is a simple local filter, not an AI recommendation.

The Condition Matrix turns notes into patterns.

Instead of generic insights, Sled Tune Bench groups the user’s own ride cards by snow, preparation, temperature buckets, track state and ski pair.

Local-first by design

The product concept is built around local storage with UserDefaults and Codable. It does not require an account, cloud sync, geolocation, maps or automatic weather APIs.

Manual ski memory

Sled Tune Bench does not act as a professional ski-service expert. It records the skier’s own impressions, ratings and hypotheses so useful patterns can be found later.
